My
name is Joseph Keikian. I have been a diamond setter for over
20 years. Since I was just a young man I always had a passion
about the jewelry industry. I began as an apprentice for
relatives who have had a life long experience in this
business. After apprenticing for quite a few years, I finally
felt comfortable and knowledgeable enough to embark on an
adventure of my own.
In
1988 I established my store, Boston Bijoux, located in the
Jewelers Exchange Building in downtown crossing Boston. At the
time I started, I operated my store out of a 250 square foot
unit. After years of establishing relationships with my
customers and running my business with the utmost integrity, I
was able to expand my shop to approximately 700 square feet. I
have also worked hard to keep my store as personal as
possible. Most customers that have come once, have almost
always come back, as well as bringing their family and friends
with them.
I
offer pretty much all there is to offer in this business. I
deal with all types of jewelry, and metals including 14k and
18k in white, yellow and rose and a wide variety of Platinum,
from engagement rings and wedding bands to pearls and color
stone jewelry. I can guarantee I will have something for you.
I also have an extensive quantity of loose diamonds from
rounds to princess cut and many other fancy shapes ranging
from .25ct and up. A majority of what I carry is made right in
my workshop. Not one article of jewelry that is left in my
store ever leaves the premises. Repairs are also worked on, on
site and can sometimes be done while you wait. Custom
designing is also a big part of my work. When you are looking
for that special piece that will be as unique as you are, I
will work with you and add my creative insight to bring it to
life.
By
running a smaller store and not having the overhead that a lot
of the larger retailers have I am able to offer the lowest
